FMARS-10 Crew Biographies
Anthony Kendall
I'm 24 years old, have been married for (almost) two years to my supporting and beautiful wife Cheryl, am about to get my Master's degree in Hydrogeology (the study of groundwater) from Michigan State University, and am planning on pursuing my PhD in Aerospace Engineering elsewhere. My master's research focuses on computationally modeling the impacts of land use changes on groundwater resources. In fact, my current studies in Hydrogeology have given me the opportunity to conduct research into Martian groundwater modeling under NASA's Space Grant Consortium graduate fellowships. I hope be a major contributer to the search for, and exploitation of, water supplies on Mars for our first few astronaut bases and early permanent settlements. I'm very excited to be part of FMARS-10, and to help build upon the lessons learned and knowledge gained by previous crews at Devon Island and in Utah. |
